Note: This package contains a visual skin only. It does not include the Disto::FX plug-in itself. A valid Disto::FX PRO installation is required.

Installation

How to install the Ableton-style dark skin for Disto::FX PRO.

macOS

  1. Unzip the downloaded skin archive.
  2. Locate the extracted folder Ableton Dark Theme/Resources.
  3. Copy the 'Resources' folder content by overwriting the old content to one the following installation directory of your Disto::FX PRO plug-in:
AU/component version:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/DistoFx_v1_7_PRO.component/Contents/Resources
Or into your user directory:
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/DistoFx_v1_7_PRO.component/Contents/Resources
VST2 version:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/DistoFx_v1_7_PRO.vst/Contents/Resources
Or into your user directory:
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/DistoFx_v1_7_PRO.vst/Contents/Resources
VST3 version:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/DistoFx_v1_7_PRO.vst3/Contents/Resources
Or into your user directory:
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/DistoFx_v1_7_PRO.vst3/Contents/Resources
After installing this new skin, restarting the plug-in or Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) may be required.

Restore original UI

How to restore the original Disto::FX user interface from the provided backup.

macOS

  1. Unzip the downloaded skin archive.
  2. Locate the extracted folder Ableton Dark Theme/Backup/Resources.
  3. Copy the contents of the Resources folder and overwrite the existing files in the Disto::FX PRO plug-in installation directory, as described in the Installation section.
After restoring the default UI, restarting the plug-in or your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) may be required.
